Grades for Fishing Boat
5083 Aluminum Plate — The top choice for fishing boat hulls. Excellent seawater corrosion resistance and weldability. Common tempers: H116, H321. Used for hulls, bulkheads, and tanks.
5052 Aluminum Plate — Ideal for small fishing boats under 10 meters. Good formability and corrosion resistance at lower cost. Common tempers: H32, H34.
5086 Aluminum Plate — Used for medium fishing vessels. Similar to 5083 with good weldability. Common temper: H116.
6061 Aluminum Plate — Used for fishing boat fittings, railings, and equipment mounts. Good machinability. Common temper: T6.
