Aluminium circle weight calculator
Calculate the weight of aluminium circle blanks from diameter, thickness and alloy. Use it for flanges, end caps, spun covers and disc parts cut from 5xxx marine sheet.

Formula
Weight (kg) = π × (D / 2)² × t × ρ × quantity
D and t must be in the same length unit before converting to metres; ρ is alloy density in kg/m³. The calculator converts your selected units automatically.
Example
An aluminium circle with D = 100 cm and t = 1 cm (alloy 5083, ρ ≈ 2,680 kg/m³):
Area = π × (0.5 m)² = 0.785 m²
Volume = 0.785 m² × 0.01 m = 0.00785 m³
Weight = 0.00785 m³ × 2,680 kg/m³ ≈ 21.0 kg
