6063 aluminum alloy plate undergoes heat treatment and strengthening to achieve high-impact toughness and insensitivity to notches. The machined surface is extremely smooth, making it easy to anodize and stain. The welding performance and corrosion resistance of this alloy are excellent, and there is no tendency for stress corrosion cracking to occur.

6063 aluminum alloy is primarily alloyed with silicon and magnesium, possessing excellent mechanical properties as well as being both weldable and heat treatable. These properties render it a popular extruded aluminum alloy for construction applications.
