6005 aluminum sheet belongs to the family of aluminium-magnesium-silicon alloys that are widely recognized for their excellent rust resistance.

6005  plate has a higher minimum percentage of aluminium composition than 6005A aluminium, however, the primary forming method for this alloy is extrusion. It is generally used for automotive light-weighting, rail transportation, etc.
