7050 Aluminum Sheet Intruduction
The main alloying element in 7050 series aluminum alloys is zinc, and the addition of magnesium to alloys containing 3-75% zinc results in alloys that are far superior to aluminum-zinc binary alloys in terms of heat treatability. Used in the aerospace field generally by increasing the zinc and magnesium content of the alloy, making the tensile hardness will be further improved, the resistance to stress corrosion and spalling corrosion ability will also be enhanced.
